Frequently Asked Questions

About the Artwork

I create both! Originals are one-of-a-kind pieces, painted directly by me. Prints are high-quality reproductions of selected works, printed in Gicleé or fine art paper so the colors and details stay true to the original.

Yes, I do take commissions. Whether it’s a personalized print, a mural, or a piece designed just for your space, I love collaborating to bring your vision to life.

It depends on the size and complexity. A small canvas might take a couple of weeks, while a large mural can take several weeks to months including planning. I’ll always give you a timeline upfront.

Definitely. I like to share sketches or work-in-progress photos, so you feel part of the creative journey.

Prints and Products

Prints are made with Carson fine art paper and Gicleé printing technique. This ensures durability and vibrant colors that won’t fade.

Yes, many of my prints are limited edition. They come signed, numbered, and with a certificate of authenticity.

Keep prints away from direct sunlight and humidity, and if possible, frame them with UV-protective glass. Murals are sealed with a protective coat, but I recommend avoiding strong cleaning products directly on the paint.

Ordering and Payment

You can order directly through my website or by reaching out to me via email or Instagram if it’s a special request at hello@majorodriguez.cr or info@majorodriguez.cr

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. For commissions or murals, a deposit is required to start the project.

Yes — I understand that art is an investment, that’s why large projects are split in 2 payments. Firs payment is due in order to reserve the spot in my agenda and the second payment is due when the project is completed

Shipping and Delivery

Yes, I ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on your location.

Within Costa Rica, delivery usually takes a few days. International orders can take 2–8 weeks depending on customs.

Due to recent changes in international shipping rates, the cost of shipping from Costa Rica to the United States has increased by more than 100%. Unfortunately, this makes it unsustainable for us to continue offering print shipments to the U.S. at this time. We truly value our U.S.-based supporters and are exploring alternative solutions to make our prints more accessible again in the future.

Please contact me right away with photos of the damage. I’ll work with you to replace the piece or find the best solution.

Yes, you’ll receive a tracking number to follow your package’s journey. Although for international shipments, please remember that once the product leaves Costa Rica’s territory the shipment company assigns a new tracking number that we can’t provide.

Murals and Large Projects

Yes! I’ve painted in different countries and love working on international projects. Travel arrangements and logistics are discussed during planning.

Pricing depends on size, location, complexity, and materials. Once we discuss your idea, I’ll provide a detailed quote.

Ideally, the wall should be clean, smooth, and primed. If it needs extra preparation, we’ll include that in the planning before providing you with the quote.

Most murals take between a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on scale and detail.

Collaborations and Licensing

Yes — I enjoy creative collaborations. If you’re a brand or designer looking to bring art into your project, let’s talk!

Licensing is possible for certain projects. Please reach out with details, and I’ll provide terms and options.

Yes, I can provide digital adaptations for specific projects under a licensing agreement.

General

Entropía started as a way to explore the balance between chaos and beauty through art. What began as personal expression grew into murals, collaborations, and prints that now live in homes and public spaces around the world.

You can see murals in various public spaces (Costa Rica and beyond), and I often share updates on Instagram when new projects are completed

Occasionally, yes! I announce them on Instagram or through my newsletter.

The studio isn’t open daily, but visits can be arranged by appointment.
